I've started making Valentine's Day cards. Here's the first, made with die cut from Lettering Delights Hogs and Kisses set:
And here is the second, made with the same file:
I chose to set the first pig slightly off center on the black background to give more contrast, but that wasn't necessary for the second. I used gems rather than cutting the flowers because I just cannot do without some bling! I cannot decide which card is my favorite, for once I like them both. What a nice surprise.
Hope you have a great week! I'm planning to enjoy mine, with a little more time to craft, hopefully.
Sincerely,
SiskiyouSue

GASP! A new living room, 5 hours of crafting AND two awesome piggy cards...seriously, could life be any better? I think not! I'm with you, I can't choose a favorite. They are both terrific in their own rights. Love that sentiment. :)

I don't know how I missed this so I'm glad I was visiting your site. I bought that set too from letter delights. I have not used it and now I'm a little envious of your precious cards...I'll call them wonderful inspiration. My husband has a bad back and when he's better he agrees that we need a new sofa. So good for you and glad you had a great long weekend. I hope this one is just as great!
ReplyDeleteOK, first - lol! I feel the same way about snow days for the family. Sometimes good, sometimes just not good for me! I totally adore that little hog, in both his incarnations :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card. Both cards are pretty but my fab is the 2nd one. TFS
